Why people use GenApps

Most tool websites upload your files to their servers, queue them, and sometimes keep copies. GenApps is built differently: every tool runs with JavaScript directly in your browser. Your passport photo, your PDF and your invoice data never leave your device — which is why the tools are instant, work on slow connections, and stay free.

The collection focuses on jobs people actually search for: compressing a photo to the exact kilobyte limit an application form demands (FPSC and PPSC want ≤30 KB, NADRA ≤50 KB), making a correctly sized passport photo at home, working out a loan EMI before visiting a bank, generating a GST-ready invoice, or checking a typing speed before a government job test.

Frequently asked questions

Are these tools really free?
Yes — every tool is free with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit. The site is supported by advertising, which is why we can keep file processing free.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Image compression, PDF merging, photo making and everything else happens locally in your browser. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tools still work.
How accurate are the calculators?
They use the standard published formulas (reducing-balance EMI, compound interest, Naegele’s rule for due dates, Mifflin–St Jeor for calories) and show results to two decimals. They are planning estimates — for loans, taxes and health decisions, confirm final figures with your bank, tax authority or doctor.
Can I use these tools on my phone?
Yes. Every tool is mobile-first and works in any modern phone browser — useful when a form deadline hits and you only have your phone.

How to use the passport photo maker

  1. Add your image using the upload box or drag and drop. Your file stays on your device — it is never uploaded.
  2. Choose your settings (target size, format or dimensions).
  3. Check the live preview and the before/after file sizes.
  4. Download the processed image. That is it — no account, no watermark.

About this tool

Position your photo in the frame, zoom to fill it, and the maker crops and exports the exact size you pick: 2×2 inch (600×600 px) used for NADRA, US and Indian passports/visas, or 35×45 mm (413×531 px) used for Pakistani passports and most European/UK visas.

The print sheet arranges copies on a 6×4-inch photo paper size so you can print a full sheet at any studio for a few rupees instead of paying per photo. Tip: shoot against a plain light wall, face the camera, no glasses glare — background replacement needs a studio, but correct size and framing are what portals check first.

Frequently asked questions

What size is a Pakistani passport / NADRA photo?
NADRA and Pakistani passport photos are 2×2 inches with a white background. Online portals usually also cap the file size — run the exported photo through our Exact-KB Compressor if needed.
How many photos fit on a print sheet?
Eight 2×2-inch copies fit on standard 6×4-inch photo paper with cutting margins.
Can it change my background to white?
It crops and sizes perfectly, and the sheet prints on white — but true background replacement needs your photo to already be against a light, plain background. Shoot against a white wall for best results.

Private by design

GenApps tools process everything locally in your web browser using JavaScript. Your files, photos and text are never uploaded to a server — close the tab and everything is gone. The only data our optional server features store is what you explicitly send us (a contact message, a tool rating or a newsletter email).
