Why people use GenApps

Most tool websites upload your files to their servers, queue them, and sometimes keep copies. GenApps is built differently: every tool runs with JavaScript directly in your browser. Your passport photo, your PDF and your invoice data never leave your device — which is why the tools are instant, work on slow connections, and stay free.

The collection focuses on jobs people actually search for: compressing a photo to the exact kilobyte limit an application form demands (FPSC and PPSC want ≤30 KB, NADRA ≤50 KB), making a correctly sized passport photo at home, working out a loan EMI before visiting a bank, generating a GST-ready invoice, or checking a typing speed before a government job test.

Frequently asked questions

Are these tools really free?
Yes — every tool is free with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit. The site is supported by advertising, which is why we can keep file processing free.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Image compression, PDF merging, photo making and everything else happens locally in your browser. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tools still work.
How accurate are the calculators?
They use the standard published formulas (reducing-balance EMI, compound interest, Naegele’s rule for due dates, Mifflin–St Jeor for calories) and show results to two decimals. They are planning estimates — for loans, taxes and health decisions, confirm final figures with your bank, tax authority or doctor.
Can I use these tools on my phone?
Yes. Every tool is mobile-first and works in any modern phone browser — useful when a form deadline hits and you only have your phone.

  1. Add your PDF files using the upload box or drag and drop. Files are processed locally in your browser.

  4. Download the finished PDF.

About this tool

Merge: combine certificates, bank statements or scanned pages into a single PDF in the order you choose. Split: extract a page range (like 1–3, 5) from a large PDF into a smaller file — perfect when a portal has an upload size limit.

Processing uses the pdf-lib library entirely in your browser: documents are never uploaded to a server, so confidential PDFs stay on your device.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a file size limit?
Only your device's memory. Files up to ~50 MB work on most phones; very large PDFs are smoother on a computer.
Will quality drop when merging?
No. Pages are copied losslessly — text, images and quality stay exactly as in the originals.
Can it split every page into separate files?
Use ranges like “1”, “2”, “3” one at a time, or a range like “2-4” for a section. Password-protected PDFs can't be processed — remove the password first.
Are my PDFs uploaded?
Never. Merging and splitting happen 100% in your browser.

Private by design

GenApps tools process everything locally in your web browser using JavaScript. Your files, photos and text are never uploaded to a server — close the tab and everything is gone. The only data our optional server features store is what you explicitly send us (a contact message, a tool rating or a newsletter email).
