About this tool

Three everyday percentage jobs in one tool: finding what % of a number (discounts, tips, tax), finding what percent one number is of another (exam scores), and percentage increase or decrease (salary raises, price changes).

Formulas: X% of Y = (X ÷ 100) × Y · Percent = (part ÷ whole) × 100 · Change % = ((new − old) ÷ old) × 100.
