Why people use GenApps

Most tool websites upload your files to their servers, queue them, and sometimes keep copies. GenApps is built differently: every tool runs with JavaScript directly in your browser. Your passport photo, your PDF and your invoice data never leave your device — which is why the tools are instant, work on slow connections, and stay free.

The collection focuses on jobs people actually search for: compressing a photo to the exact kilobyte limit an application form demands (FPSC and PPSC want ≤30 KB, NADRA ≤50 KB), making a correctly sized passport photo at home, working out a loan EMI before visiting a bank, generating a GST-ready invoice, or checking a typing speed before a government job test.

Frequently asked questions

Are these tools really free?
Yes — every tool is free with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit. The site is supported by advertising, which is why we can keep file processing free.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Image compression, PDF merging, photo making and everything else happens locally in your browser. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tools still work.
How accurate are the calculators?
They use the standard published formulas (reducing-balance EMI, compound interest, Naegele’s rule for due dates, Mifflin–St Jeor for calories) and show results to two decimals. They are planning estimates — for loans, taxes and health decisions, confirm final figures with your bank, tax authority or doctor.
Can I use these tools on my phone?
Yes. Every tool is mobile-first and works in any modern phone browser — useful when a form deadline hits and you only have your phone.

How to make a 35×45 mm photo

  1. Add a clear, front-facing photo using the upload box above — a plain, light background works best.
  2. The size is already set to 35×45 mm (413×531 px), the UK / EU standard. Drag the photo to centre your face and use the zoom slider to fill the frame.
  3. Download the finished photo as a JPG.
  4. Or download the print sheet and print it on 6×4-inch photo paper at any photo studio.

About this tool

The 35×45 mm standard. At 300 DPI, 35×45 mm is exactly 413×531 pixels — the export size this page is pre-set to. The UK, Ireland, the Schengen states and most of Europe use this size for passport, visa and ID photos, and the Pakistan passport photo is also 35×45 mm. It is taller and narrower than the square 2×2 inch (600×600 px) photo used for NADRA and US or Indian visas, so a 2×2 photo cannot simply be re-used.

Before you apply: print-size rules (35×45 mm) and online-portal pixel minimums are not always the same — some online visa systems ask for a larger pixel file. Check your application’s photo specification: if it asks for 35×45 mm, this download is the exact size, and the print sheet lets a studio print true 35×45 mm copies on 6×4-inch paper.

Frequently asked questions

Which countries use 35×45 mm photos?
The UK and Ireland, the Schengen-area countries and most of Europe, for passports, visas and ID cards — and the Pakistan passport also uses 35×45 mm. US and Indian visa photos and NADRA photos are the square 2×2 inch size instead; use the main Passport Photo Maker page for those.
Is 413×531 px the same as 35×45 mm?
Yes, at the standard 300 DPI print resolution: 35 mm = 413 px and 45 mm = 531 px. A studio printing this file at 35×45 mm gets an exact-size photo.
My online visa form asks for a bigger pixel size. What should I do?
Follow the form. Some online systems ask for larger pixel dimensions than the print size. If your form specifies pixels, use a photo that meets its stated minimums — the size on paper stays 35×45 mm. If it only specifies 35×45 mm, this download is exact.
Can I print the photo at home?
Use the print-sheet download: it arranges copies on 6×4-inch photo paper, which any photo studio (or a home photo printer) can print cheaply; then cut the 35×45 mm copies apart.
